About the\u00a0project<\/strong><\/p>\n The international project “Education Technology as a Contributor to Sustainability Skills” aims to support the development of sustainability skills in the Visegrad (V4) countries through modern pedagogical and educational technology (EdTech) approaches.<\/span><\/p>\n The project is implemented by the HEPA Hungarian Export Promotion Agency with three partners: the Education:Next Educational Technology Association (Hungary), the Institute for the Innovation of Education (Slovakia) and Maker Faire Czech Republic (Czech Republic).<\/p>\n The project aims to bridge education, technological innovation and sustainability, while strengthening the network of educational actors in the region. Sustainability is now not only an environmental but also an economic and social issue, and education systems have a key role to play in equipping young people with the green competences to become informed decision-makers, systemic thinkers and active citizens. The project will support this approach, with a particular focus on methodological and technological training for teachers.<\/p>\n One of the main pillars of the programme is a 30-hour blended teacher training course, which builds on STEAM and SEEQS approaches in addition to the theoretical and practical aspects of sustainability.
